Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) is a subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises Limited, incorporated in August 2016. Brigade Enterprises Limited started hospitality business from June 2004, introduced the innovative idea of professionally operated and branded serviced apartments through its Brigade Homestead brand. Over time, the organization has expanded its footprint to encompass various sectors within the hospitality industry.
Our operating hotels have achieved the EDGE certification, demonstrating our achievement in reducing energy and water usage by more than 20%, as well as having less embodied carbon in our building materials.

Nirupa Shankar
Managing Director
Nirupa has spent the past 16 years of her career overseeing Brigade Group’s Hotel, Office and Retail portfolios. She has successfully conceptualised multiple award winning F&B outlets such as HIGH Ultra Lounge, Glass Kitchen & Bar and the Art Café in Bengaluru. Nirupa was instrumental in setting up Asia’s first real estate accelerator called Brigade Real Estate Accelerator Program (REAP) in 2016 and launching BuzzWorks, Brigade’s flexible workspaces brand, in 2019.

A leader par excellence in the real estate sector, Mr. Jaishankar’s unwavering dedication to excellence has empowered Brigade to evolve from a modest, single-building, privately-owned enterprise into a multifaceted, multi-domain and multi-city public limited company. Named one of India’s Top 100 CEOs by Business Today, Jaishankar is the founder and lifetime trustee of Brigade Foundation and the Indian Music Experience (IME). He was conferred the ‘Bharat Ratna’ Sir M Visvesvaraya Award in 2022 by the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI).
Amar Shivram Mysore
Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director
Amar brings to the table more than a decade of diverse experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, the power sector and real estate. He holds a Masters in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University USA and is actively involved in the company’s transformative IT initiatives to improve business efficiency. Amar has been instrumental in securing renewable energy for Brigade Group’s Commercial, Retail and Hotel properties.
Vineet Verma

Vineet holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Calcutta, India. He joined the Brigade group in 2006 as chief executive officer of Brigade Hospitality Services Limited. He is the managing director of WTC Trades & Projects Private Limited, which provides facility management services. He has completed the executive programme for strategic marketing for hotels and restaurants from the Indian School of Business. He has more than 30 years of experience across the fields of hospitality and retail business.
Bijou Kurien
Independent Director
Bijou holds a bachelor’s degree in science from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore, Karnataka and a postgraduate diploma in business management from Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He has more than 40 years of experience across the management and retail/lifestyle sectors. He has previously appointed to grade III management in Hindustan Lever Limited and worked with Titan Company Limited as regional manager of Calcutta. He was also associated with Reliance Industries as the chief executive of lifestyle business at Reliance Retail.
